Enrolling your child with Bathurst Family Day Care

Bathurst Family Day Care is an Australian Government Approved Child Care Service and is therefore eligible to government subsidies. The Government's Child Care Package is available to reduce the amount of fees paid from the Family Assistance Office, with eligibility based on gross combined income and activity test.

Families are asked to contact Bathurst Family Day Care if looking for care. An Information Pack will be provided and you will be referred to available Educators.

A family Enrolment Form must be completed for each child prior to a child commencing care, you can access the online enrolment form here.

To confirm your enrolment, you will need to submit the following documents prior to child commencing in care:

  • certified copy of child/rens’s birth certificate
  • immunisation statement from the Australian Register (ACIR)
  • health management plans
  • risk minimisation and communication forms (if required)
  • original court orders regarding custodial arrangements if applicable

A non-refundable $30.00 enrolment fee is payable prior to commencing in care.

Selecting an Educator

The service will attempt to match your care requirements with a suitable Educator. During the enrolment process, parents are encouraged to discuss the needs and interests of their child and ensure you and your child are comfortable with the selected Educator.

Educator fees vary as they are set by the Educator according to their qualifications, experience, environments and other services provided.

Families will receive a copy of their individual Educator's fee policy and payment requirements at the time of interview with the Educator.

To enable a smooth transition into care, parents and children are encouraged to visit the selected Educator prior to commencing in care. This provides the opportunity to become familiar and comfortable in the Educator's care environment.
