Child Care Benefit (CCB)
CCB is a payment from the Australian Government that is designed to assist parents, foster parents or grandparents with the cost of childcare.
Child Care Rebate (CCR)
CCR is a payment from the Australian Government that is designed to assist working parents with the cost of childcare. If the parents meet the Australian Governments work study tests then parents can expect to receive a rebate of up to 50% of their 'out of pocket' childcare expenses. CCR is not currently means tested.
Special Child Care Benefit (SCCB)
Special Child Care benefit is available to families that are experiencing hardship. SCCB is a component of CCB and if granted will cover 100% of the families childcare fees for a period of up to 13 weeks.
Jobs, Education and Training Child Care Assistance (JET)
JET provides extra assistance to eligible families that are currently undertaking activities such as job search, work, study, training. JET will cover the majority of the gap between what is paid under CCB and the childcare fee.
